when I thought of this topic I decided to go through my educational time during the pandemic and I remembered how students would not attend class properly and cheat in exams and how I saw students with great skills in academics coming back to school and not studying properly and saw that bridging educational gaps caused by covid-19 is an important topic.
remote learning enhancement :
I saw students not having proper devices but most of them did have phones but did not have proper internet to use them . so providing internet to students would help them . I also saw some government schools providing students with laptops but them not having internet to use them.
digital learning apps :
using recording videos recorded by the teachers students can watch them explain a topic they might not properly understand , these recorded videos can be sent in a website created by the school or a website used by them
after-school programs :
providing after school programs to students how don't get good marks help to learn or understand better about a topic they have trouble understanding
assessment and feedback :
regular feedback can provide a student with timely and constructive assessment on their work and how they have done .
data and monitoring :
teachers can get a analysis by giving weekly test to students to see how well they understand a topic and this can also be used a feed back given to students
conclusion :
bridging educational gaps caused by covid-19 is a complex and ongoing process with requires the agreement of parents , teachers , students , community and whole school to help cross these gaps.
